A few crates I've up cycled up for a friends rustic themed wedding reception next weekend :)

Thought I would share with you a little up-cycling project I did last weekend - making the most of the sunshine in the garden.       To get the look I did two coats of grey chalk paint, followed by one coat of a 50% water & 50% antique white chalk paint, removing any excess paint with an old rag. Once full dry, using sandpaper, I gave the table a distressed finish. Then using our Harlequin A4 stencil I applied a pattern background, and finished off with our A3 Cacao-Payraud stencil.  To seal the table I used two coats of bees wax.
